Spirit of Soccer holds MRE tournament in Cambodia
Four teams of boys and girls travelled to Battambang from districts affected by mines for this unique oppertunity to compete in a soccer tournament and learn Mine Risk Education.
In the opening ceremony Sokhorn, the Program Manager of Spirit of Soccer, gave a few words of welcome and then introduced Mr. Yenu, the Deputy Governor of Battambang, who addressed the importance of Mine Risk Education through sports, and praised the efforts of Spirit of Soccer.
Then it was time to focus on the ball, and the kids played with all their energy in the brutal March heat.
